What actually is failure?
Failure is a state of mind, where we think that thing by which we identify ourselves ( any goal or story ) doesn’t go as we have thought of it. This creates a feeling of ” ego hurt ” and further if we compare ourselves with some successful guy or gal, we start to feel like a failure.
For example – If Walt Disney wouldn’t have failed in joining the army, Mickey Mouse wouldn’t be here.
I just felt so excited while writing this, as I can relate my own story while writing and it feels good to share my experience of training myself to not feel like a failure.

1. Identify the reason behind why we feel like a failure
It is very necessary for us to find the reason first then solve the problem, It may be a certain quality like Poor self-esteem, Lack of discipline, or some other psychological reason which can be the cause for our feelings.
2. Identify what’s the trigger for such feelings
The trigger may be any situation or event like us comparing ourselves with someone else. Watching other getting success, social media influence, or someone has said something to ourselves.
3. What success looks to you?
Definition of success differs from person to person. For some people it is financial stability other finds awesome looking skin or Amazing clothes or body.
Ask yourself where you went, what you did, where you lived, who was in your life, what did you do for others, and what your life felt like. Think about how you want to be remembered and write it all down.
4. Understand the biases
There are many false beliefs in society about how failure looks. So, better we must understand it psychologically. If we don’t focus on biases it can damage our success.
In failure, we come across the logical error of concentrating on the people or things that failed to make it past some selection process and overlooking those that did, typically because of their lack of visibility. This can lead to false conclusions in several different ways. It is a form of selection bias.
5. Jot down above queries and understand them
As we have identified our reasons, how success looks for us, and understood the failure bias.
Now I want you to put make a priority list of what you want ( we have to focus on those primarily ) and also list down the least prioritized work. So, that while working we must be clear about what work to do.
6. Now time to take action
We have already listed down what our priorities are so just start doing it. Just stay motivated and believe that you have already succeeded.
7. Ask help from coaches or proffesional if needed
At last, if you feel that still, you can’t overcome your feelings of failure and it is troubling you to search for guidance & coaching.
Just remember you aren’t a failure – you’re just taking a route that is different than the one you envisioned. You may have thought to reach your journey through a smooth path but now you are struggling to climb mountains and then you are comparing yourself with others.
Just choose the right path and it will be fun – the journey to achieve success
